Paid through app but still not Premium?

Important notes

  • If you know to have subscribed through our website (billed by Surfline directly), these instructions do not apply.
  • Subscriptions to Surfline can be made in one of two ways, via the Surfline website, or through the Surfline app. When subscriptions are made through the app, the billing will be linked to your app store account (Apple or Google Play)

Confirm whether Surfline Premium is an active subscription

First, check to see that Surfline is listed as an active subscription using the iOS/Android instructions below.

How to check from iPhone/iPad

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.

How to check in Google Play Store (on an Android device):

  1. Open the Google Play app
  2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
  3. Tap Payments & Subscriptions and then Subscriptions.

Surfline Premium is in my subscriptions list but my account isn't Premium.

Do you have any other email addresses that could be linked to your subscription? Please login to those accounts to check.

Head to the Account tab (bottom right of app screen). Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Restore iTunes/Google Play Subscription.

You might need to contact support for them to finalize the changes.
