Surfline offers several membership options with access to live cams, extended forecasts, and additional features depending on your plan. See the following article for more information - What membership types do we offer?
Free trials
- Free trials are reserved for our audience who have never had a Premium subscription or free trial in the past.
- Free trials are only offered with annual subscriptions, not monthly
- Free trial eligibility is determined according to our terms of use.
- On both the app and website, you will see whether a free trial promotion has been applied
- "Upgrade now" won't include a trial
- "Start free trial" will include a trial
Billing terms
- Surfline offers both Monthly and Yearly subscription options.
- Monthly subscriptions offer greater flexibility for customers who only need Premium for part of the year.
- Free trials, discount codes and other promotions are only associated with annual subscriptions
- Charging once per year allows us to give you the best possible rate, switching to annual can save up to 35% on bills
Different membership plans
- If you're paying directly via surfline.com, visit surfline.com/upgrade to view the membership options currently available to you
- If you're paying via the app, click any prompt to upgrade from within the app

Joining Premium on surfline.com
1. Choose your membership plan and billing term. Select the subscription tier you would like to join: Premium with Ads, Premium, or Premium+. Then select plan if available: Monthly or Annual. Click Upgrade or Start free trial (if eligible) to proceed.
If you have a Surfline discount code, select “Have a Surfline Premium discount code?” before continuing. Available billing options may vary when a discount is applied.
2. Enter card information and review order. You'll then be taken to our third-party billing system, Stripe, for this. If there is any issue with currency shown, contact support@surfline.com. Any error after hitting Pay and Subscribe will likely need to be discussed with your bank or card provider, not us.
3. If you're new, you'll be taken through a setup/onboarding process. After you hit Get Started, you can find a Skip button in the top right corner of the slides.
