A Surfline Premium subscription provides full access to our camera network and extended forecast. Check out the table below to see what other features are included with Surfline Premium.
Free trials
- Free trials are reserved for our audience who have never had a Premium subscription or free trial in the past.
- Free trials are only offered with annual subscriptions, not monthly
- We reserve the right to determine free trial eligibility per our terms of use.
- On both the app and website, you will see whether a free trial promotion has been applied
- "Upgrade now" won't include a trial
- "Start 7-day free trial" will include a trial
Billing terms
- Surfline offers both Monthly and Yearly subscription options.
- Monthly subscriptions are the most expensive option but offer flexibility for those only surfing a few months per year
- Free trials, discount codes and other promotions are only associated with annual subscriptions
- Charging once per year allows us to give you the best possible rate, switching to annual can save up to 35% on bills

Joining Premium on surfline.com
1. Choose your billing term. In the screenshot below, I can see I am not eligible for a free trial. Other subscription plans are noted below, but they may not offer different billing terms. Likewise, if you have a discount code, there is a button at the bottom of the page - again, you likely won't have billing term options when applying a discount code.
2. Enter card information and review order. You'll then be taken to our third-party billing system, Stripe, for this. If there is any issue with currency shown, contact support@surfline.com. Any error after hitting Pay and Subscribe will likely need to be discussed with your bank or card provider, not us.
3. If you're new, you'll be taken through a setup/onboarding process. After you hit Get Started, you can find a Skip button in the top right corner of the slides.
