How to use Surfline's in-app cam player
If a surf spot has more than one camera angle it will be visible underneath the main camera player.
Any spots that have a Smart Cam available, will be noted by the neon icon in the top left of the cam's thumbnail:
In full screen (landscape orientation), you can click to show other cam angles, nearby spots or your favorites. Simply swipe up the drawer at the base of the cam player to see the options.
Rewinds in the iOS app:
Viewing any camera in the iOS app, you can access the rewind clips by selecting the timestamp underneath the cam player:
Select the date at the top of the rewind page that appears, then scroll down to select the time you would like to view the rewinds for:
Scroll through the time graph beneath the cam player to find your clips, or tap the screen to change playback speed if you aren't sure exactly when you caught the wave to scan through footage faster.
Clips - Crop, Zoom, and Share
Once you've found the clip you'd like to save, select the Clip button
Then click Select & Preview from the proceeding page:
Then trim the clip to the desired length by clicking Trim and clicking and dragging the yellow bars on the ends of the Clip Preview timeline:
Then select Crop to adjust the aspect ratio, and pinch to zoom in on the clip:
Once you've finished editing your clip, click the Share button at the bottom right of the screen to save the clip to your device, or share it with your friends!
