Sessions is now available in the Android app for both free and Premium customers!
How do I log a Session?
There are 3 ways to log a Session in the Android app:
-
Manual Sessions - Click the + icon at the top of the homepage in the app, and fill out the prompts to manually log your Session.
- Import from Strava - First you'll need to connect your Stava and Surfline accounts. To do this, head to the Account tab in the Surfline app, scroll down the page and click to Connect a partner > Connect (to the right of Strava). Once you've connected your Surfline and Strava accounts, any surf activities recorded in Strava should automatically sync over to your recorded Sessions in the Surfline app.
- Sync from Garmin - A Garmin Watch compatible with the Surf Activity function is required (see a list of compatible devices here). If you have a Premium subscription - Once you've got your Surfline and Garmin account connected, recording a Session from your Garmin watch will automatically generate clips of the waves you caught if you surfed in front of a live-streaming camera, which can be found in the Sessions tab in the Surfline app.
