From the Favorites page, you'll see three tabs: Live, Forecast, and Custom Forecast.

The Live tab allows you to see a cam preview at all your favorite spots, which can also be filtered by region:

The Custom Forecast tab will show a forecast for any of the spots you saved to your favorites using the Custom Forecast feature. Great tool for secret spots, or those not already listed on Surfline!

2. Live cam carousel

Live cams from your favorite spots will begin autoplaying as soon as you open the Surfline homepage. If a cam isn’t available for a particular spot, a satellite image will be shown instead. The cams displayed correspond to the selected region, which is highlighted in black.

3. Regional Forecast / Days to Watch.

(Subject to regional availability)

The Regional Forecast section on the Surfline homepage gives you a quick overview of today's surf conditions for the region you've selected, written by our forecast team.

"Days to Watch" are the standout days in the forecast when conditions are expected to be notably better—typically due to favorable swell and wind combinations. These days are flagged by our forecasting team to help you quickly identify the best upcoming surf opportunities in your area.

Make sure you’ve selected your desired region (highlighted in black) to see the most relevant forecast and "Days to Watch" for your local spots.

4. Surf Forecast

Compare your favorite forecasts side-by-side for the region selected on the homepage. Use the arrows at the top right to scroll through up to 16-days of forecasts. Click View all Forecasts to compare forecasts of your favorite spots in all regions or a combination of multiple different regions:

Reorganize your favorites to make the most of the new homepage. After clicking View all Favorites on either the Cam Carousel or the Forecast Outlook tools, you'll see an Edit Favorites button. Bringing your top 5 spots to the top of your favorites list will bring the new homepage to life.
