How to Add, Reorder and Delete Favorites on the Surfline Android App

Important notes

Changes made in the app will reflect on the website (and vice versa) as long as you're logged in to the same Surfline account
Surfline works best when your most frequented spots are at the top of the list.

How to search for a new spot

Use the search icon to search for specific surf spots or geographical area, or use the Explore tab to find surf spots on a map. Take a look at the following article for more information: How do I find a surf spot in the Surfline Android app?

How to add a spot as a favorite

Using the Search function or Explore tab in the app, head to any spot page that is not currently saved as a Favorite. You can add a favorite directly from the Search function by selecting the + button on the right side of the page.

You can also add a Favorite directly from the Live tab on any spot page:

How to reorder and remove Favorites

To edit your favorites, first tap the Forecast tab at the bottom of the app:

Then from the top of the Favorites tab, tap the Edit button at the top of the page:

Tap the circled check mark to remove a Favorite, or you can rearrange the order of your Favorites by holding the 2 bars to the right and dragging up or down to the desired location:

You can also remove Favorites from any spot page by tapping the check mark at the top of the Live tab:

Live vs Forecast

There are two tabs on your Favorites page: Live and Forecast. The Live tab shows a current surf report, and the Forecast tab will show you a forecast overview for all your favorites.
