Find the same forecast (formerly known as Premium Analysis) under the Regional Analysis tab.
The same forecast (previously on the Regional Forecast page) is now found on the Forecast tab from any spot page on Surfline.
The difference? Surf height readouts won't be regional – they will be spot specific. The AM/PM regionwide rating has been replaced by a minute-by-minute spot-specific conditions rating.
The text written by an expert forecaster continues to cover the spot's sub-region.
The Regional Analysis (previously Premium Analysis) is a long-form, written forecast in a discussion style produced by our team of expert forecasters, covering a wider reaching area.
It typically covers a geographical region with a similar wave climate. On this page, the forecast team have the flexibility to speak about anything that will impact the surf over the next week or more, expanding on and scrutinizing the LOTUS data that drives much of Surfline.
You'll find discussion on storm activity, model performance, the best days of surf in the next week, local winds, tides and long range surf prospects.
