[New Surfline] What are those red dots across the site?

We understand a lot has changed on Surfline recently. To make the transition as smooth as possible, we want to explain various new features across the website, and point out where you can find some of the more familiar Surfline features on the new website.

When you first visit the new Surfline, you'll see a pop-up explaining some of the new and improved features across the site:

You can dismiss this modal, or learn more by clicking "See what's changed."

After you've read through the modal, you'll notice a pulsing read dot at the top of the page:

Clicking this dot will open up a series of tool-tips, which we call page-level tours. These tours explain various parts of the new Surfline:

Once the tool-tip appears, you can click the "Next" button to move through the tours:

If you don't wish to go through the tours right away, you can click the "X" in the upper-righthand corner of the tool-tip. This will dismiss the tool-tip, but the red dots will remain on the page. If you want to skip the tours entirely, click the SKIP button, this will dismiss the page-level tours altogether.
