Why do I need to create an account to save Favorites?

Favorites on your app are now saved to a cloud so you can access the same Favorites across all the mobile devices that you use.

If you are not signed in, Surfline cannot access your account from which we pull your specific list of Favorites from the cloud.

If you have Favorites saved on multiple mobile devices with the same account, all of those Favorites will be saved to the cloud as you update the app.

If you see many Favorites that you do not recognize in your list, you might want to reset your password in case someone else has been using your account. This will recover your account and log any user out from all devices that are using your login.
